I m back! MIA for very long :)

Hoho ^_^

I wonder if anyone is missing me?? heehee :P Yeah, i already MIA for a few wks. Coz my lappy broke down. sigh...inserted a vcd then suddenly blue screen. After i Ctrl+Alt+Del > the command says "cannot find the O.S" > which means my lappy 'died' on me. I thot i need to get a new lappy, and that means a big hole in my pocket. Then my saviour came along > daddy's fren reformat my lappy!

I called up laptop technical office to ask > they did a calculation as follows:
Retrieve data > $80
Reformat > $50
Back up data> $30
Service fee > $25
Grand total >$185
(all excluding GST) > i was very stunned and told them is that the cheapest? They pitied me and said they would waive the service fee! A quick mental calculation told me that i will need to fork out $160! OMG!!

Then Dad's fren came along and told me he could see wat he can with my lappy. After checking, he said he could not retrieve data as no C drive is found (dun ask me why! until now i still dunno wat i did to it!) and wat he can do is to create 2 partitions for me > install Win XP > install MS Office 03 and the necessary things for me! And how much it cost me?
A box of Tokachi Wine Chocolate > $7
I m so grateful to this fren! Thank you very very much! You saved my pocket! :)

Then i went to Japan, Hokkaido. Took plenty of photos, but the cam is not mine and i need help to retrieve the pics. So frens! Pls be patient and i will upload pics soon! :P

Now is my long vacation (touch wood! hope i can find a satisfactory job soon) and i wanna relax all i can. Work is for a lifetime and once i start work, i wont get a chance to take 3 months rest anymore! So long vacation....

More to come > updates on Hokkaido trip!

Just a pic to tempt all of u...I took this outside the hotel at Sounkyo. We stayed there on the 3rd night, and this hotel is located in the middle of two gorges. Very nice. Surrounding the hotel, are mountains, valleys, rivers. We stayed in a tatami room and once i open the shades, wat i see are valleys, rivers with running water, trees, clouds..hmm..moreover the weather there was cooling and we really had a good time soaking in the outdoor hot spring. This hotel is my fave coz of its location and to be frank, i would die to live there for a month! It makes a city-dweller like me to lighten up, relax and appreciate wat nature brings to us.
