Heavy workload :) but am happy

Lunch-time today is spent doing my blog, and waiting for colleagues to pack lunch for me.

Work is getting more, and i got more things to do now. Dun feel good this wk, coz Daddy got the boot from his company > S****c > do not bother to guess the name, the no of words is not exact, just ask me and i will tell u which company. (can't reveal the name coz i need to protect myself, not protect the company of coz!) This company is booting 600-700 ppl, coz need 'blood tranfusion'. Yeah, i am talking in puzzles coz can't blatantly criticize such a company on blog, moreover its a stupid company so not worth getting into trouble over it.

Daddy was sad, coz he worked like a dog for 2 yrs 11mths there and all he got was 2 mths compensation and an explanation that he was over 50 and company could not hire him anymore. What was all the talk abt older workers being assets to companies coz of their vast experience? Daddy has 27 yrs of experience in this industry and he got the boot! Can't believe it at all!

But Heaven will always give Man a way, a path to walk. He will not cut off all our resources and leaves us with no alternatives. Perhaps i m working now, so its a chance for Daddy to take a break from work. Not that we miss his working hours, imagine working either 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, 5-6 days a wk. And when its pay day, the company always make a mistake and give him lesser pay! Is this fair labor? Once he worked OT and clocked many hrs a mth, company said there is a pay ceiling (which is not very high, more like pay floor to me), and refuse to pay him, giving him more off-days instead. Ppl work for money, not off-days!

Mummy's work is not smooth-sailing either. Her tution is hard > ppl, some unreasonable parents, insist that she make up tut for their kids whenever their tut fall on a public holi. Public holis are meant to be public/mass rest days, not to make up tut. Then students keep changing tut time, thinking that Mummy is only teaching them, and can let them choose 24/7 a wk, any time they want. Mummy, u shld just ask those ppl to get out, no need to teach so hard liao!

So comparatively, my work is still ok. Messy files, terrible filing with loose emails here and there, but! Me, is undaunted and managed to sort out everything! Young ppl like us should work hard and strive! To my frens who are working and slogging: let's jiayou tgt and make our future a brighter one! :) Add oil (oil is ex now..but still add la :P)!!!!

PS: I hardly complain on blog, coz my blog is meant for holidays and stuff, but i really cant stomach the fact that that stupid company is so heartless! Employers shld reflect on their way of treating their workers, "kindness begets kindness" > if u treat workers well, they will do their utmost for the company too. But high intellectuals employers dun seem to understand/comprehend this simple theory.
