This trip is for my boss, my consulting engineer, myself and Kiet (my vn colleague). We are going there to meet the owner and architect for a residential project. As we will finish work on Fri, i suggested that I stay till Sunday as I could meet up with some Hanoi frens over there, who are in wtp and wwtp too. Kiet also stayed over the wkend, as I needed a 'local guide'.
Before going to Hanoi, I was quite apprehensive as what to see and do there, what is the city like, how are the people like etc... friends told me that I would love Hanoi, as the weather is cool (more of cold), the buildings are French-style colonial houses, the air is better and fresher etc.
When I arrived in Hanoi, I was greeted by a gush of cool wind, and I love it! I have always prefer cool weather to hot weather, haha ^_^ The roads are not as congested as HCM, there are lesser motorbikes, more cars, more lakes (water bodies), more trees, less dust.. I start to note the differences between HCM and Hanoi.
